We are flexible in our logistics and can deliver both smaller and larger quantities. Our honey has no residue of antibiotics or herbicides, which there might be in imported honey. We treat our honey with care! (no heating) Many larger producers that buy honey from other beekeepers will melt the honey in order to always achieve the right consistency. However, that destroys many of the healthy aspects of honey. We only sell honey from our own bee farms.
The nectar that the bees collect from flowers is converted into honey by the bees. Three kilograms of nectar yields one kilogram of honey. Depending on what flowers the bees have visited, the honey will have different colour and taste. The honey is stored in the honeycombs. When the honeycombs are covered with wax the honey is ripe for harvest. To achieve one jar of honey the bees will have to visit about five million different flowers which they at the same time pollinate. In addition to fructose and glucose, honey contains minerals, enzymes, vitamins, amino acids, antioxidants and bactericides.
